Touchstone’s chief legal researcher is Michael Dibble.  Mike holds licenses to practice law from Ohio (inactive) and Florida (active).  He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law, and a published law review author.  Following his graduation and becoming licensed in Ohio, he served a three-year clerkship with United States (6th ) Circuit Judge Leroy J. Contie, Jr.  As a federal law clerk, Mike researched and drafted court opinions and pre-argument memoranda for Judge Contie.

After his clerkship, Mike went to work for a civil litigation firm in Akron, Ohio, where he specialized in commercial and constitutional litigation.  Seeking a return to public service, Mike then worked as a public defender in Wayne County, Ohio, where he handled over 50 jury trials and several hundred bench trials.  In 1991, he established Legal Research and Writing Service, a company devoted exclusively to providing legal research and writing services to other lawyers.

In 1995, he relocated to Florida where he continued to grow his legal research business. To gain credibility with Florida lawyers, he became licensed in Florida in 2003 after posting the highest Bar exam score in his residential district (5th District).  While continuing to do legal research and writing projects, he also personally handles business litigation matters, guardianship, and probate matters.

Today Mike resides in Sanford, Florida with his wife and two daughters.
